This is fairly similar to SSNI-623 w/ Yura Kano but I liked that movie better because it had a bit more build up as to why the guy would want to cheat on his gf (she’s cheating on him). This seemed kinda abrupt that the man would want to cheat on his gf suddenly.
On the other hand, in SSNI-623 the man was the dick (i.e. tossing Yura to the side because she’s a porn star despite her hinting she loves him) while in this movie Minami displays pure sociopath behavior – stealing her best friend’s man and then revealing it to her ON VALENTINE’S DAY once the three days was up.
A strong drama but a few more minutes in the beginning would have fleshed out the characters more.
No. it was Yura-chan who dumped him. She gave the reason, in one of JAV most epic endings. hahaha
Yo, I 100% agree with you on this! That SSNI-623 scene with Kano Yura happens to be one of my favorite scenes and I definitely see some of the similarities to this one. I love Minami, but I found this scene kinda boring and really anti-climactic. I also commented about this having really no context in the beginning as to why he was so easily willing to cheat. Made me wonder if there was even a prequel perhaps where Minami and the dude had something going on before already? But we got nothing. Story is a great idea, but I just wish there was more dialogue and build up. SSNI-623 really pulled at my heartstrings cause it really almost seemed like I was watching some sort of kdrama, or in this case, a “jdrama”. Everything about that scene was perfect, from the script, Yura’s acting, the dude’s inferiority complex cause she was an AV actress, her catching feelings but ultimately turning him down cause she knows that he’ll never see her more than just an AV actress and his personal little fuck toy, and the ending was perfect.
