Swingers are just one of those stories that gets the best spiciest bits. Especially if the characters are huge contrasts of each other. And certainly the director Masaki Nao knows this when he casted a Imai Miyu who looks soft, cute, innocent and plain and Yoda Rin who looks intimidatingly cute and cunning.
Now the question here would be:
would you rather be Yoda Rin’s husband or Imai Miyu’s husband in this exact scenario?
Hard to pick, but you said this specific situation only so the right answer is Imai Miyu’s husband. I like contrasting flavors, a not so pretty woman and a cute sexy woman is a great combo for my palette.
The dialogue all the way thru is wonderful. Loved the switch from the early coldness and anger to the competitiveness, to the change in approach, and the plunge into the world of getting together to switch back and forth with everyone together, the girls just loving every moment.
