That dialogue is amazing as she deals with actually falling in love at work (her work), while sensing other customers who might similarly fall in love with her, (or offer the world to her) and yet wanting to reject, upset no one, to please every customer. And to still try to find some honest way to return the love of her young man who she opened up to.
Quite a movie.

Even though the dialogue is mostly scripted, you can tell that Goro-san has absolutely elite level rizz the way he was casually and confidently asking her out on a date while she was working over his chinpo.
I’d bet good money that Karen gave him some extra after the shoot was over.
This was so wonderful
