Kitaoka Karin strikes me as those cute types that are pretty but not enough to be S-Tier idols with huge productions but can thrive in niche underground type idols that has a small cult following who also gatekeep their idol group vehemently. Their fanbase could probably fill up a humble small cafe where they would often perform. Or literally just a rental small room.

Pretty specific, but these kinds of groups exist. Japan’s gatekeeping culture is mad insane.
